She won three consecutive state high school basketball titles as a player. In college, she signed on on as an assistant with her former coach. 11 years later she would take over as head coach of her alma matter, winning a state title two years later. But as easy as success comes, it can quickly fade.

Kara Graham, the former varsity girl's basketball coach at Lincoln Southeast High School in Lincoln, NE not only knows the highs of championships, but has faced the humbling realities of rebuilding and defeat. But for her, the focus on her players and her own pride have seen a major shift in how she approaches her role investing in the lives of young people.
